Rubayyi-bint-Mu'awiz (Radi-Allahu-Anha) was a woman of Ansar, who had participated in many battles, by the side of the Prophet ﷺ. She nursed the wounded and carried the dead bodies during the battle. Hadhrat Ummul Mu'mineen Umme Habibah (Radi-Allahu-Anha) was previously married to Ubaidullah bin Jahsh. She emigrated with her husband to Abyssinia. Her husband turned renegade and died there as a Kafir. The Prophet ﷺ sent his offer to marry her through king Negus, while she was still passing her days in Abyssinia as a widow. Hadhrat Abu Bakr (Radi-Allahu-Anhu) was a cloth merchant and lived by that trade. Hadhrat Suhaib and Hadhrat Ammaar (Radi-Allahu-Anhuma) became Muslims at the same time.
